Apple iPhone Error #53

For the past few weeks, articles have been popping up all over the interwebbings relating to Apple iPhone users experiencing the Error 53. This error is essentially bricking peoples iPhone 6 devices and turning them into rather expensive paper weights.

This problem is occurring mostly where people have smashed their screens and take them to a 3rd party repair shop..... essentially any repair shop on the planet that is not Apple.

So we went and done some research and found more often than not, its an easy fix and does not need a battery replacement.

Every once in a while I find myself having to call abroad.  I cringe whilst im on the phone because it costs me a small fortune and eats through my credit within a few minutes. Thankfully I don't have to make calls abroad to often, but I am sure many people do. I came across this great online tool, were you simply click on the county you would be calling and it tells you the cost per minute each Irish mobile carrier charges its customers.

I have seen differences of over €2 per minute from one network operator compared to another.
